PickQuick Help
For Sellers

Seller Quickstart

Get your shop live and your first item selling in 10 minutes.

This guide walks you through signing up, creating your primary shop, adding your first item, and going live. Total time: about 10 minutes.

Before you start

You'll need:

  • A valid Canadian phone number and address
  • A product to list (name, price, 1+ photo, stock count)
  • A pickup address — where customers collect their orders

1. Create your account

  1. Go to seller.pickquick.ca and click Sign up.
  2. Enter your email, a strong password, and your name.
  3. Check your email for a verification link and click it.
  4. Log in.

Tip

Use a business email if you have one. Customers never see your email — it's only for account recovery and PickQuick notifications.

2. Complete your shop owner profile

After first login, you'll be asked to fill out your profile:

  • Full name — as it appears on ID (for payouts)
  • Phone — for order notifications
  • Business name — how your shop appears to customers

Submit, and you'll be taken to the shop creation screen.

3. Create your primary shop

Every seller has exactly one primary shop. This is where your items "live" before being expanded to other locations.

Fill in:

  • Shop name — what customers see (e.g. "Maya's Bakery")
  • Description — one paragraph about what you sell
  • Address — full street address for pickup
  • Hours — when customers can pick up orders
  • Contact — phone or email displayed on your shop page

Click Create shop. You now have a live shop (though nothing's in it yet).

4. Add your first item

From the dashboard, go to Items → Add item.

Fill in:

  • Title — clear, short ("Sourdough Loaf — 750g")
  • Description — ingredients, size, special notes
  • Price — in CAD
  • Stock — how many you have right now
  • Category — pick the closest match
  • Images — 1 to 5 photos. First photo is the thumbnail.

Click Submit for review. An admin will approve it within 24 hours.

Good photos sell

Natural light. Plain background. Show scale (a hand, a ruler). First image is what customers see first — make it the best one.

5. Go live

Once approved, your item appears on the PickQuick Store (pickquick.ca). Customers can order for pickup and pay at the Shop, or pay online for delivery where available.

You'll get a notification the first time someone orders.

What happens next

  • Orders come in → see Orders in your dashboard. Mark them ready when the item's packed.
  • Customer picks up → confirm pickup in the dashboard. Stock auto-decrements.
  • Payout → earnings batch every two weeks, paid by e-transfer.
  • Delivery → follow the delivery order guide. Check refund and payout status if an order is cancelled or returned.
