Delivery Fees and Settlements
Understand allocated delivery earnings, online processing costs, and how cancellations affect seller earnings.
Upcoming policy — not yet active
PickQuick will announce activation and notify affected sellers before this policy applies to new eligible online delivery checkouts. Existing orders keep their original terms. The live Store currently sells only products sold by Pickquick Commerce Ltd. These future third-party seller settlement rules do not apply to those sales. See the current customer terms.
What you earn
Your settlement is merchandise after discounts, minus applicable commission, plus your allocated delivery earnings when your Shop delivers, minus your processing-fee share. Customer tax is not seller earnings.
For delivery, primary-Shop sales have no platform commission. Merchandise fulfilled through PickQuick Managed stores has the applicable commission, currently 10%. Processing costs are separate from commission; “10%” is not an all-inclusive online payment fee.
Shared delivery fees
The customer pays at most CAD $9.99 delivery per combined checkout before applicable tax. Each order receives a share. The delivery owner earns that share, not a full delivery fee for every package. Any additional compensation must be explicitly funded by PickQuick.
Online processing costs
We use the actual Stripe fee for the original charge. Each order’s share is proportional to its original customer total, including delivery and tax. Cent rounding is allocated consistently so all shares add up to the original fee. The fixed charge fee is shared too; it is not repeated for each order. There is no markup on this processing-fee allocation.
Commission, processing cost and delivery earnings will be separate settlement entries. Missing fee information must be reconciled before the settlement is finalized, not treated as a zero fee. Connect and payout costs are not silently included in this charge-fee allocation.
Example
For a $146.89 checkout with orders of $28.25 and $118.64, an actual $5.73 processing fee splits into $1.10 and $4.63.
The primary Shop’s $28.25 order contains $20 merchandise, $5 delivery and $3.25 tax. With no platform commission, its earnings are $20 + $5 − $1.10 = $23.90. This example does not promise a fixed processing rate.
When an order is cancelled
A request puts the order under review; it does not issue a refund. Admin confirms the goods are secured, approves cancellation, and separately authorizes the payment return. Cancelled orders have no seller payout due.
PickQuick absorbs that order’s unrecovered processing cost. Other sellers keep their original allocations. We do not reduce the customer’s approved refund by a seller processing fee.
In the example, refunding the $118.64 order leaves its $4.63 processing cost with PickQuick. The other seller’s fee stays $1.10.
Pickup and existing orders
Shop-collected pickup payments are outside this online delivery fee policy. Existing orders and earlier settlement terms are not recalculated when the new policy starts.
